Join us for an 'All Levels' Yoga Class with Moxie Yoga Studio, followed by a guided harvest of edible calendula flowers for you to take home. About this event:
1 hour 30 minutes
11am: 1 hour Gentle Yoga Class with Moxie Yoga Studio. Please read YOGA CLASS INFO below.
12pm: Join us for a hands on guided calendula harvest here on the farm. You will harvest a pint of fresh edible and medicinal calendula flowers for you to take home! Participants will receive a downloadable Calendula Flower Monograph prior to the event.
* If you wish to only attend one part of the event, there is no discount on pricing.*
PARKING:
~ Please follow the parking signs upon arrival.
~ Look for the large 'Entrance' sign at the bottom of the parking area, you'll enter through the open gate at that sign.
YOGA CLASS INFO:
~Bring your own yoga mat (we will not have mats available)
~ Be on Time: Class starts promptly at 11am, so arrive early to set up & be ready at start time.
~ Bring a water bottle, if needed. Water will be provided after class as well.
~ The minimum age to participate is 12 years old, minors must be accompanied by an adult.
~ Beginner Friendly/All Levels Class

ABOUT CRYSTAL ORGANIC FARM:
Crystal Organic Farm in Newborn, GA was started by Nicolas Donck in 1993, making it one of the oldest certified organic farms in the region. Over the past 30 years, the farm has expanded to 40 acres of USDA certified organic land that specializes in vegetable, fruit, medicinal/culinary herb and flower production.
In 2008, Nicolas received the Land Stewardship Award from Georgia Organics, which honors an individual or individuals who have contributed greatly towards the organic agriculture movement in Georgia. Nicolas was a founding member of Morningside Farmer's Market which continues to serve the Metro Atlanta area for over twenty five years as the only certified organic market in the city. Crystal Organic Farm currently supplies direct to consumer retailers like Fresh Harvest and Garnish & Gather in the Atlanta Metro area. In addition, The Farm offers an online store for local customers that not only sells their produce, but offers eggs, honey, flowers, meats, dairy, cheese and more from local farmers. The farm is very committed to giving back to the community, so any excess food is donated to local food banks and churches while excess medicinal plants are donated to non-profit herbal clinics.
Crystal Organic Farm continues to be on the forefront of the organic farming movement, and they are proud to be active members of The Real Organic Project and Georgia Organics.
