4-class series Tuesdays October 1-22 at 11amLearn to use your yoga practice to increase strength, build bone and muscle mass through resistance. Each week, we will use blocks and resistant bands to adapt common yoga poses to emphasize strength and controlled lengthening.
The goal for this series is to enable you to INTENSIFY your yoga practice so you can continue to use yoga and resistance to strengthen your bones and muscles and create better functional movement.
Each session will include a pdf for a continued home practice.

About our presenter:
Linda Troutman, BS, 500 E-RYT, C-IAYT has practiced Hatha Yoga for over 30 years, teaching since 2000. She has completed her 1000 hour Yoga Therapy certification with Yoga North and International SomaYoga Institute. In addition she holds a Certificate of Completion from Duke Integrative Medicine for Integrative Yoga for Seniors Professional Training and is a registered teacher of Baxter Bell’s Yoga for Healthy Aging. Linda believes that yoga meets you where you are and can be adapted for any person. Her teaching style is a therapeutic mix of Somatics, SomaYoga, precision of alignment, and the breath-synchronized practices of Viniyoga and vinyasa. Linda is certified 500 CYT by Prairie Yoga and teaches students of all ages. She is also a Certified YogaKids® teacher. Linda has been dedicated to mentoring yoga teachers for many years and is a teacher trainer in the 200 & 500 hour Prairie Yoga Teacher Training programs.
