Yoga and Mindfulness in Schools Training

Join Wellity Education to learn best practices to teach yoga and mindfulness to K-12 students.

After the training, you will receive our year-long mindfulness curriculum that can be used as a flexible social-emotional learning program you can incorporate into your school day.

This course will provide you with the resources you need to teach breathing, mindful movement, and guided relaxation tools to K-12th grade students. No previous yoga experience necessary.

Dates:

October 5-6 from 9-4:30 EST each day.

Continuing Education:

CE certificate for 13 hours to turn in to your LPDC or licensing body for approval.
12 CEUs for licensed counselors and social workers.
12 CE Contact Hours for registered yoga teachers.
1 graduate credit from Ashland University available for an additional fee.

Mindfulness Curriculum:

Receive a year-long mindfulness curriculum of 40 short lessons that engage all learners in breathing, movement, and relaxation tools. All lessons are trauma-informed and align to SEL standards.
