About the Instructor:
Carla has been studying and instructing various yoga practices for the past dozen years. Her yoga is very approachable (not to be mistaken with “easy”) and truly is available to all body types and backgrounds. Over the years and years of instructing studio, corporate, private and community yoga, she has learned how incredibly important it is to weave prana (breathwork), dhyana (meditation), and niyama (self-discipline) into her sessions alongside the better-known asana (posture) practice.
She runs deep with collective energies along with an abundance of seasonal wisdom. Through the years of leading and following, Carla has developed a refined sense around how a healthy and emotionally intelligent practice should not only land, but also settle and live within the body both physically and energetically. You can expect a focus on breath, a smart, preceptive and ever-evolving sequence, and a clear somatic focus that serves as the common thread for both.
