The YMCA of Kanawha Valley is a cornerstone of our community, dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of people of all ages and backgrounds. From offering critical childcare and special needs programming to distributing food to those in need through the Y Marketplace, the YMCA's impact reaches far and wide.
The YMCA also provides a clean, welcoming environment for holistic wellness—focusing on spirit, mind, and body. With state-of-the-art fitness areas, group exercise classes, aquatics programs, and opportunities for social engagement for seniors, the YMCA supports multigenerational health and well-being. Best of all, the YMCA is open to everyone, regardless of income or ability to pay for membership.
As you can imagine, membership fees alone don’t cover the cost of ensuring access for all or supporting the many community-focused programs the YMCA offers. This is where the spirit of philanthropy and the generosity of people like you come in to help fill the financial gaps.
This year, we are honored to celebrate Diane Strong-Treister as the Spirit of the Valley honoree. Diane exemplifies generosity and community engagement, sharing her time, talent, and resources with several non-profit organizations throughout the Kanawha Valley. Her leadership and commitment to giving back inspires us all.
