?!??? ?????? ??? ??? ????? ???????? ???? ?? ???? ? ????!
Bringing our third EP 'Lostalgia' to the stage the day after it's release on the 13th August, we're planning a show that'll be unlike any Y!KES gig you've ever been to. We've got a lot of time to make up for Birmingham, and we are gonna have it large.
?!???
Y!KES are an alternative, grunge fuelled anti-pop band from Birmingham, U.K. Known for their bombastic drums, massive riffs and vocalist Oli Long's unique vocal talents and persona, the band have worked hard to create an audio-visual experience like no other. They are storytellers, their videos being part of a broader Y!KES Cinematic Universe in which you'll find neon vampires, Terry the alien and the legendary Bear Frills, a 6ft Teddy with human teeth. Alongside making themselves a known presence online, the band have also been cutting their teeth on the live circuit, making appearances at festivals such as Hard Rock Hell and performing alongside Vukovi, Counterfeit and King Nun.
Following their latest singles 'Long Gone Silver', 'Just Me' (Feat. Thursday's Geoff Rickly) and 'Jukebox Martyr', the band are currently preparing for a massive festival run in the post-covid world, including sets at Hard Rock Hell, Kingsfest, Your City and Sometimes Festival alongside the likes of October Drift, Hands off Gretel, Phoxjaw & Skid Row. Their 3rd EP 'Lostalgia' will be released on the 13th August amongst a national tour with 'Trashed'.
Y!KES are Liam, Oli, Rob & TJ.
They cordially invite you the chaos. Y!x

All it took was Green Days secret set at Reading 2012 for Jimmy, Ben and Sam to become best mates and start making music together. In 2018 Jimmy and Ben decided to drop out of University and drag Sam away from his 9-5 to start Trashed.
Trashed worked with Neil D. Kennedy, producer for Milk Teeth, Creeper and Boston Manor, to cultivate the sound for their arsenal of stripped back, catchy, 90s inspired punk rock songs filled with neck breaking riffs and throat shredding melodies.
Trashed’s sound is the sticky mess you get from boiling down years of being mesmerised by Kerrang! and Scuzz when bands like Green Day and Sum 41 were owning the show, with more personal influences like vegetarianism, dealing with anxiety and desperately trying at all costs to avoid a 9-5 job.
Bedlam Bookings, Perspective Music and Blackstar Amplification have all seen Trashed's potential and backed the Bristol band with contracts and endorsements.
?Ū?Ø
JŪNØ are a young, exciting rock band from Sheffield, England. Fusing the sounds of the UK indie rock and US alternative rock; with inspirations such as Queens of the Stone Age, Foo Fighters & Arctic Monkeys. Comprised of three members and childhood friends: Peter Hayes (bass guitarist and vocalist), Bruce Featherstone (guitarist) and Marlon Walker-Taft (Drummer). The band was formed in 2016, going through different names and members, but it was 2018 when the name JŪNØ and members was settled upon.

vedawave (fka VEDA) is cyberspace’s very own lo-fi prince of darkness. The industrial/gothic/post-punk project was created by Birmingham, UK based multi-instrumentalist Dominiq Antonio.
vedawave’s sound and identity has evolved over the years with each release creating its own unique saga, showcased live across the UK and Europe. The project was born with the lo-fi atmospheric waves of 2017’s debut EP Soir, followed by the pastel drenched emo of 2019’s Sweetheart EP, which was vedawave’s first release on California based label Birthdiy.
Debut album Leave It All Behind was released in 2020 via Birthdiy. It shifted the project into new tenebrous depths, featuring dark melodic paths, nihilistic inspired lyricism and soaring guitar leads. It served as the gateway into heavier gothic themes paired with ambitious instrumental work, leaving behind the shimmering lo-fi pop of the past.
The end of 2020 saw vedawave enter its fourth evolution with its first gothic metal single release with Ezi Deth Rekords, 'Santanico Pandemonium'. This was followed by 'The Murder Song' in May 2021, further exploring heavier ground with industrial synths, saturated beats and thick nu-metal style guitar riffs.
