"???? ??? ??????, ???????? ???? ????? ??? ???????? ??? ??? ?? ????? ??? ????? ?? ?? ??? ????. ?? ??? ? ????????? ???????"
Join us in the wonderful seasonal Yin Intensive sessions with Hellen van der Harten.
Each season corresponds to one of the five natural ELEMENTS, which can be matched with the five YIN ORGANS.
By giving extra attention to the organ of the current season, with an intensive yin yoga practice, we find greater BALANCE in energetic levels.
And that's exactly what we're aiming for; ??????? ??????? ?? ????????? ??????.
Throughout the year you can join the special seasonal sessions. Each Yin Intensive has the following components:
⭐ Meditation
⭐ A short introduction about the 5-element theory in the current season
⭐ An extra long yin yoga practice
⭐ A 30 minute Meridian Nidra

DATES & DETAILS 2021-2022
⊙ ?????? (Metal) – November 5, 2021
In the Autumn edition we will explore asanas that target the Lung and Large intestine meridians. These asanas are associated with the Metal element. We will focus on the upper body, chest, upper back, shoulders and neck. The energy of this season, more than any other, supports our letting go, revealing what is true and of most value.
⊙ ?????? (Water) – January 21, 2022
In the Winter edition we will explore asanas that target the Kidney and Urinary Bladder meridians. These asanas are associated with the Water element. We will focus on the Spine and inner legs, including forward and back bends. Winter is the ultimate Yin season, the time of rest and hibernation, when nature retreats to build up its reserves for its next cycle of seasons.
⊙ ?????? (Wood) – March 25th, 2022
In the Spring edition we will explore asanas that target the Liver/Gallbladder meridians: side bends, hip openers, and stretches for the inner leg. These asanas are associated with the Wood element and will greatly help us balance our tendency toward impatience as we initiate changes during early Spring!
⊙ ?????? (Fire) – July 8th, 2022
In the Summer edition, we will explore asanas that target the Heart/Small intestine meridians: focus on the chest, arms and back bends to help open the chest. ⊙ Autumn (Earth) – t.b.c
In the Autumn edition we will explore asanas that target the Spleen/Stomach Meridians. Asanas that activate these meridians focus on the front of the legs, the hips and twists. These asanas are associated with the Earth element which is all about being grounded and connected. ABOUT HELLEN
Hellen van der Harten is our lead trainer in the Yin Yoga Teacher training and one of our senior yoga teachers. She has studied extensively with Paul and Suzee Grilley (fouders of Yin Yoga), Jo Phee, Sarah Powers and Anat Geiger.
Hellen has designed these seasonal Yin sessions to give people a chance to dive deep into the yin practice and better understand the different poses, what they do for a person and how they can be adapted to a certain body.
Always coming from an anatomy starting point Hellen integrates the five element and meridians theory flawlessly. This makes these intensives highly interesting and enjoyable.
