Yin yoga is a slow-paced, therapeutic style of yoga that can be suitable for people of all ages and abilities. It's a good choice for people who want to relax, focus on their mind, or balance intense workouts. Yin yoga can also help people with injuries or chronic conditions that cause pain, as the slow movements are less likely to aggravate existing issues.

Kate Anderson completed her 200 hour Teacher Training in 2016, and 300 hour Advanced YTT in 2021. During this time, she apprenticed at Bergener Health in Pregnancy Yoga with a Birth Doula and Educator.
She currently teaches a variety of classes, including Yin Yoga, Pregnancy Yoga and Baby & Caregiver Yoga in Columbia, MD. Passionate about birthwork, she is in the process of completing her Birth Doula certification hours.
Kate’s enthusiasm for building community helps create a supportive and fun environment during classes. Given her first-hand experience with the benefits of yoga, she particularly enjoys introducing new students of all ages to the practice. Her instructions invite students to explore their own balance between effort and ease. Kate currently lives in Old Ellicott City where you can often find her exploring and walking through the town!
