About this Event
As the days continue to shorten and nature begins its big sigh out, we are surrounded by signs of descent and release. During this practice, we’ll align ourselves with the qualities of Autumn that we may also be experiencing within the inner landscapes of our own lives.
This traditional Yin Yoga practice will be woven with wisdom from Chinese Meridian Theory & the 5-element philosophy, focused on stimulating the Lung & Large Intestine meridians (energy lines) to create greater inner balance and harmony during this time of year. During Autumn we may feel called to linger a bit longer, shift inward, grieve, and perhaps become more introverted as we process the end of another life cycle. During this particular practice, we’ll explore themes of tuning inward, slowing down, processing, nervous system regulation, and letting go.
This practice will be restorative in nature, and open to all levels. The studio will be candlelit and the sequence set to peaceful music. Yoga bolsters, blankets, and blocks provided - feel free to bring your favorite props from home as wanted. My hope is that practitioners call upon this practice all Autumn long - using principles discussed or postures explored as needed, to find balance during these upcoming months.
PLEASE ARRIVE 20 MINS EARLY, to sign waiver and create your account before the event. You will not be allowed entry without this step completed.
