Yin Magic is a Yin Yoga class that fuses Yin Yoga, Flower essences, Meditation and gentle energy based practices like Reiki or Polarity therapy to help balance & align your energy. Each class will also help integrate the energy of the week.Yin Yoga is meant to be done when the musculature is colder to get a deeper release of connective tissue, so try not to warm up muscles before class if possible. It is also best done on an empty or emptier stomach to allow for the free flow of energy.
Bring your own yoga mat, or borrow one from the space. We will have the rest of the props you may need.
You will have an option at the end of class to take a custom flower essence for the week or to receive healing touch. Everything is optional.
While Yin Yoga sounds like it will be totally relaxing, there is some challenge & tension built in, and postures are held for longer periods of time. We recommend not going past a 3 out of 10 in terms of tension. And to use props to achieve this sweet spot of tension.
Yin Yoga is a beautifully healing practice, meant to bring greater mobility, balance, and ease in your fascia and connective tissue.
