About this Event
Join us for an evening of bliss.
Drift away to a dreamy state as you hold the poses in yin while listening to the relaxing sounds of the singing bowls.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We will begin the evening with a 1 hour Yin Yoga class accompained by the singing bowls. Ending the evening with a 15 minute sound bath.
Yin yoga is a slower and more meditative style of yoga. Giving you the space to turn inward and tune into both your mind and the physical sensation of your body. Yin yoga targets your deep connective tissues, like your fascia, ligaments, and joints.
A sound bath is a therapeutic and meditative experience that uses various instruments, such as singing bowls, gongs, chimes, and drums, to bathe the partipants in sound waves. Sound waves are set to different frequencies that correlate to different healing. For example, the singing bowls being used at this event are tuned to 432HZ. 432Hz, also known as the "miracle tone," is said to be in harmony with the natural vibrations of the universe. Helping to promote a sense of calmness, improve sleep quality, reduce stress and anxiety.

About the instructors
Yin Yoga Teacher:
Jayadvaita is a yoga teacher with over 11 years of practice in Yin, Hatha, Bikram, and Vinyasa yoga disciplines. From an early age, Jayadvaita was deeply invested in physical fitness - from running, hiking, gymnastics and everything in between. He endured trauma from years of running and contact sports and started yoga as a counter measure 10 years ago. Within in a matter of 2 years he experienced the logarithmic growth of physical well being through yoga. Finally he decided to turned to yoga, meditation, and intention setting to heal and explore the full benefits of yogic lifestyle.
His love of movement translates his practice and teaching style that is both strong and graceful, challenging and grounding. Over the years, his practice has become much more than just physical, taking on a more spiritual and esoteric role with meditation and other distinctly inward-focused practices. His classes intent to combine ancient yoga teachings with modern sequences to create a beautiful blend of past and present. He believes that yoga is a powerful tool that can help us uncover our true nature and discover our divine place in the universe.
