About this Event
In the depth of winter, the world invites us to slow, soften, and listen more deeply.
This nourishing session blends Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra, alongside Reiki and live sound, to support rest, restoration, and quiet renewal. Yin Yoga is a slow, floor-based practice where postures are held for longer periods, gently working into the deeper layers of the body, the fascia, joints, and connective tissues. Rather than stretching or striving, Yin asks us to yield, to meet sensation with patience, and to create space for the nervous system to settle.
Rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine, winter is associated with the Water element, the kidneys, and our vital reserves. This is a season of conservation, inward focus, and deep listening. Through Yin postures that support these pathways, we invite steadiness, warmth, and replenishment, tending to the quiet stores of energy that will later fuel spring.
As the body softens, the practice flows into Yoga Nidra, a guided deep rest where the body sleeps while awareness remains gently awake. Often called yogic sleep, Nidra supports the nervous system, invites profound relaxation, and offers a space for integration, dreaming, and renewal.
Throughout the session, Reiki is offered to support energetic balance, alongside live sound, including gentle voice and guitar. These vibrations help soothe the nervous system, deepen rest, and create a feeling of being held and accompanied, like a winter lullaby for the body and mind.
This is an offering for tired bodies, busy minds, and souls longing for stillness. A winter hearth for your nervous system. A remembering that rest is not a pause from life, but a vital part of it.
Come as you are. Leave feeling softened, resourced, and quietly restored.
