Namaste!Welcome to this beautiful 90 minute Yin Yoga: Journey Through The Chakras practice. The concept of the 7 Chakra System is that each chakra reflects various aspects of consciousness essential to our lives. In other words, it's a beautiful way to find balance within the different aspects of our lives. Its a beautiful way to turn inward and reflect which can help improve/enhance self awareness.
Yin Yoga is the practice of stillness and allows the body’s connective tissues, ligaments, and tendons to stretch out as the poses are held for 5-8 minutes. In a world that is so fast, Yin Yoga gives us space to slow down, turn inward, breathe and surrender into each pose without forcing it.
Here are just some of the benefits of Yin Yoga:
-Enhancing the range of motion of your joints and ligaments.
-Encouraging you to connect with your breath.
-Improving emotional balance.
-Reducing symptoms of stress, depression, anxiety, and sleep disturbances
As we move through the Yin Yoga poses, awareness and an understanding of the corresponding Chakra, energy center, will be delivered through affirmations and sound therapy to help you connect to your own internalized roadmap.
This will be a lovely candlelit experience with singing bowls and other little instruments to help you along your own personal journey of your Chakra system!
