This 2,5 hour Yin XL workshop is part of a series of workshops about the 5 elements we find in Traditional Chinese Medicine and how to balance them through the practice of yin yoga. In this workshop we will be exploring the element of fire, connected to the heart and small intestine. The fire element is about circulation, consciousness, memory, the nervous system and love. We will do a long yin yoga practice, meditation and breath-work to bring back into balance the fire element. You will learn about meridians and the 5 element theory in TCM (traditional Chinese medicine), what happens when out of balance and what to do find balance again. In this workshop we'll be doing a lot of poses for the arms and shoulders. This workshop can be followed as a stand alone workshop.
