Join Sharka for a calming Yin to Sound Journey in a cozy, safe space on Saturday, October 18, 15:00–17:00 at Highersense Hot Yoga & Pilates Lund. We'll start with meditation to ease your mind, followed by gentle yin poses to release tension. In the final part you won't have to do anything other than lay down and receive.You will be asked to get comfy (wear extra layers as body temperature drop when we are still), set intention, relax and just listening to the sound of crystal singing bowls.
Benefits of Sound Healing:
🧡 The sound waves that ripple out from the crystal bowls draw our brain waves into theta and delta states ( slowest in humans), associated with deep relaxation.
🧡 In this deeply relaxed state, the body releases the hormone oxytocin (love/kindness hormone) serotonin (happy hormone)
🧡 Nitric oxide is also released in some parts of the body ; a molecule which helps with immunity, along with many other physiological benefits
🧡 The thinking mind drops away, giving us the freedom to explore the magical space between asleep and awake
🧡 It calms the nervous system activating the parasympathetic nervous system and therefore produces profound healing effects in the body
🧡 In this space we’re more likely to find answers to questions we’ve been searching for, creative ideas, clarity, an understanding of internal blockages, a sense of coming home.

This session may not be suitable if you have ear implants, pacemakers, epilepsy, any form of psychosis, and taking strong psychiatric medication, or are in the first trimester of pregnancy.
