An hour-long grounding yin yoga practice, incorporating breathing and mindfulness followed by an acupuncture and reiki enhanced restorative savasana. By combining this specially designed yoga practice with an acupuncture treatment, this special event is designed to keep you feeling grounded, calm and present during the fall season.Acupuncture is among the oldest healing practices in the world. It aims to improve health through the stimulation of specific points on the body with small, thin, sterile stainless-steel needles.
Acupuncture brings more blood flow and circulation to specific parts of the body, more oxygen to the tissues and releases endorphins which all help promote the relaxation response and bring the body to an improved state of balance. The acupuncture points chosen for this workshop are supportive and calming to the body and allow for increased relaxation.
Yin Yoga and reiki will be facilitated by Tiffany Greene, Founder of Creation Yoga, Yoga Instructor, and Reiki Master. Acupuncture will be administered by Tammy Brady, LA.c, board-certified licensed Acupuncturist of the Yin Within, Yoga Instructor and Registered Nurse.
The cost for this event is $55.
