Join us for the Opening Day of the 2025 Exhibition, "Yes And," featuring three special events that are free and open to the public!
The Opening Day begins with a guided Exhibition Tour, during which all 13 participants will reintroduce themselves and unveil their completed work.
The thirteen installations in Exhibit Columbus were created by:
- Four J. Irwin and Xenia S. Miller Prize Recipients
- Six University Design Research Fellows
- Design Education Team
- Communication Designer
- 5th and 6th Grade STEM Students
Coffee and light pastries will be offered at the Columbus Area Visitors Center before the Exhibition Tour begins. The tour will start at the installation, Motions by Communication Designer, Sing-Sing, right outside the Visitors Center, and will conclude at the installation, Accessing Nostalgia by Miller Prize Recipient, Adaptive Operations.
Immediately following the Exhibition Tour, there will be a special site activation at Accessing Nostalgia.

Opening Weekend will enliven downtown Columbus and celebrate the city’s architecture and design legacy with thirteen outdoor installations. This weekend is the only opportunity during the exhibition’s three-month run to see the exhibition alongside all the architects, landscape architects, artists, and designers who created the installations, as well as Columbus residents and visitors from around the world.
