About this Event
Hailing from the great state of Texas, country crooner, multi- instrumentalist and winner of NBC’s The Voice, Craig Wayne Boyd, captured the hearts of America. His musical journey began at the young age of 4, shaped by the rich traditions of country and gospel music. He perfected his craft under steeples which opened doors to tour life as a Christian Rock bassist. He had the charisma and bellowing vocals of a front man but his southern twang meant only one thing... a move to Nashville.CWB signed a publishing deal with EMI shortly upon arrival. When he wasn't putting pen to paper and song to words he was busy logging more than 1,000 shows in four years, stopping at any and every radio station he could. He was opening for acts like Jamey Johnson, Randy Houser, Sara Evans, Brad Paisely etc. Then it happened…after years of hoofing it all over the country he became an "overnight success".
Craig's remarkable journey on THE VOICE was marked by his powerful performances and authentic storytelling. His charismatic stage presence and emotional depth endeared him to a vast fan base across the nation. The unforgettable rendition of classics like "The Old Rugged Cross" and “Some Kind of Wonderful“ showcased his versatility as an artist. Blake Shelton and Craig Wayne Boyd rocked “Boots On” as millions watched and voted for their winner.
Days after his victory, Craig debuted at #1 on Billboard with “My Baby’s Got a Smile on Her Face” tying Garth Brooks for the honor! Beyond his musical achievements, Craig is known for his genuine humility and dedication to his craft. He has guest hosted or appeared on Today In Nashville, The Great American Food Truck Challenge, Hallmark channel’s Home and Family, The Ellen Show, Jimmy Fallon, Fox, Good Morning America, Good Morning LALA Land, TODAY, TMZ, All Access Hollywood etc. His most prized musical accomplishments is playing the Grand Ole Opry 25+ times. Whether jamming with his 5 children, playing back under that steeple on his off Sundays or entertaining his #YALLERS on the road, he remains a beloved figure in the country music community, inspiring aspiring artists with his talent and down-to-earth personality.
Craig Wayne Boyd's story is one of talent and “stick-to-itiveness”. With album number six well on it's, he's ready to unleash his most real, raw, country yet.
