We are thrilled to welcome Chastity Washington BACK to Yellow & Co. and Mahomet! Chastity put on an amazing show at our last location so extra special to have her back at our new building. Chastity is not only an hilarious amazing Comedian she is also currently a teacher. Wow. the stories she tells. This show is a MUST for any teacher or school employees...heck even non teachers will find her humor relatable.
Chastity's career spans thirty years. It has taken her to colleges and club's across the country. She is a NBC Diversity Finalist and an HBO Comedy Wings winner. She has been seen on BET Comic View HBO Def Jam at Montreal Just for Laughs festival and the Martha's Vineyard Comedy Fest. Recently Chastity is a regular at the Laugh Factory Chicago and Comedians You Should Know. Chastity has been featured at the New York Comedy Clubs and The Grisley Pear Village/Manhattan.She has Headline at TeeHee's, Sidesplitter's Wesley Chapel,The Lincoln Lodge and Zanies Chicago/Rosemont, Comedy On State in Madison the Milwaukee Improv and Chicago Improv.
Lastly she has Opened for Tommy Davidson, Sommore,David Mann Vince Carone Charlie Berens, Michael Che andRoy Wood Jr. Her 1st stand up special Live at Dandy was recently released on Amazon Prime ,Tubi and YouTube movies. Lastly she has appeared on Season 2 of Nate Bargatze's Nateland the Showcase appeared at the Chicago What's Funny Comedy Fest, headlined the Ann Arbor Comedy Showcase.
As a bonus, Champaign's very own Rachel Lindemann will be our feature act for the evening. It is always a huge pleasure having Rachel back on stage! She is a Yellow & Co. fav!
General Admission doors open at 6:00, show starts promptly at 7 pm-don't be late.
Full bar on site for drinks for purchase. No kitchen. Some snacks for purchase. No outside food or drinks allowed. Due to strict requirements from the health department, we are not serving ice for drinks. However, if you want to bring your own ICE, you are welcome to.
Please note that this event is for age 18 and up. 21 and older of course allowed to drink. IDs will be checked.
