Following a string of singles, Gadigal-based three-piece YEEVS have just released their new album and first in five years, ‘The Borderline, Thereabouts’. Their most layered, melodic and multifaceted release yet was mixed by Tim Kevin (The Apartments, Restless Leg). ‘The Borderline, Thereabouts’ is about boundaries both physical, mental and emotional, and the resilience that is needed in navigating each fork in the road. YEEVS will be taking the record on the road for a run of shows in November.Joining them on their Sydney show will be their like-minded mates in The Electorate. The Electorate are launching their new single Face of a Giant, and playing their last show for the year. Face of a Giant was recorded by Wayne Connolly (Teskey Brothers/Victoria/Underground Lovers) and is the first single from The Electorate’s sophomore album, Suitcase Is My Head, due in 2025. The single is an angular minimalist gem from the Electorate, and their first new music since their 2020 debut, You Don’t Have Time To Stay Lost.
Also on the bill will be Stay Golden, a three-piece dream-pop band from Sydney's Inner-West/Eora. With all three members blending their diverse vocals, Stay Golden play with swirling celestial layers and shifting movements of immersive noise.
