We are delighted to announce that The English School Entrance Examinations for Year 1 entry 2024-2025 will take place at the school on ?️ Saturday 2nd of March March.Subjects:
? Year 1 Greek speaking candidates will be examined in Greek, Mathematics and Non-Verbal Reasoning
? Year 1 English speaking candidates will be examined in English, Mathematics and Non-Verbal Reasoning
? Year 1 Turkish speaking candidates will be examined in Turkish, Mathematics and Non-Verbal Reasoning
? Year 1 applicants will all be examined in Maths, English/Greek/Turkish, and Non-Verbal Reasoning (NVR). Each subject will be weighted equally and students selected accordingly.
Candidates who are offered a place for 2024-2025 and who sat the Greek or the Turkish papers will subsequently be required to take an English diagnostic paper at a later stage. This is to determine whether they will be required to attend extra English lessons during their first year. All candidates must sit this diagnostic paper so correct placement is ensured.
Candidates who are offered a place for 2024-2025 and who sat the English paper will be required to take a Greek or Turkish language diagnostic test. This diagnostic test is designed to place accepted candidates at their appropriate level for Greek/Turkish language lessons.
