We return on Saturday June 15th for more YDNY shenanigans and our Summer party @thecarltonclub.Firstly we have AKAJackie.
AKAJackie is building a stellar reputation on the Manchester scene having played for some of the city's finest parties including Club Solo, Sticky Heat, YDNY, What She Said, Studio Honey and DeRanged Nights amongst others. He has brought the vibes to some top venues including The Refuge, Ramona and Carlton Club and has also played further afield at 110 above festival and Sheaf St in Leeds. He stands out with his blend of a multitude of genres. Expect thick bass lines, piano slammers, soulful vocals, wonky disco, electro and classic disco and house. Recently he has contributed to radio shows on Komrad and also Reform Radio, with a special guest mix for Manchester disco royalty Supernature. Always searching for a perfect musical journey he is committed to bringing that top energy and vibe we all seek on the dancefloor. As well as performing as a DJ, AKAJackie plays the clarinet full time in the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra.
We also have a second guest which is Neil Willis aka La Famila Musica. Neil (La Familia Musica) has been DJing and promoting since the early 90s. Initially DJing for mates at their club nights alongside some of the big names of that era, playing US House and Garage; Neil then joined a close friend running successful club nights across Yorkshire, through to the late 90s when he took a break and focussed on family life! Neil returned to the club scene in the 2010s and in 2018 jointly promoted a sellout night in Rossendale (where he now lives) with Graeme Park headlining. Neil also linked up with YDNY to launch a night in the Ramsbottom suburbs. Neil continues to have a passion for US house but loves to play disco or funk influenced house.
If that wasnt enough, on the night we will also have our residents the scouse power house Neil Craven and YDNY head honcho Rob Jones.
