Yasmine Hamdan, the pioneering voice who emerged in the late '90s with the legendary duo Soapkills, is today an established icon in the Arab music scene and far beyond. After moving to Paris, she developed a unique sound in which her deep-rooted Arabic singing style merges with influences from contemporary electronic, pop, and folk music. She sings in various Arabic dialects, thereby doing justice to her culture.Her critically acclaimed solo album Ya Nass (featuring a song in the Jim Jarmusch film Only Lovers Left Alive) and its follow-up Al Jamilat brought her international recognition and performances at the most prestigious stages worldwide, including the Royal Albert Hall and the Sziget Festival.
This concert will focus on her most recent album, I Remember I Forget (March 2025).
