Paddle Victoria Sprint and INCC Yarra Paddlers invite you to the 200 m Splash & Dash,
followed by an exciting Strength & Conditioning (S&C) session at BFT Fairfield.
Who Can Attend:
Open to all paddlers interested in racing and refining their strength & conditioning knowledge.
(all ages and skills levels)
Event Schedule:
🛶 Morning : 200 m Splash & Dash Race (singles, doubles and K4's)
Registration: 9 am - 9:30 am
First race: 10 am
Format: Elimination-style 200 m races with 3-4 boats per heat.
Winners advance to the next round.
The rest move to the repechage for a second chance!
Prizes: Top 3 paddlers will receive ribbons.
🌠BBQ Lunch:
Available for purchase after the races, hosted by INCC Yarra Paddlers.
Afternoon: Strength & Conditioning Session at BFT Fairfield
Session time: 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm
Location: BFT Fairfield, where science meets fitness. 185 Grange Rd, Fairfield
Session Details:
Tailored specifically for kayaking needs, this practical S&C session builds on the theory covered at the Junior Training Camp.
Incorporates scientifically proven techniques to improve overall performance.
Led by highly accredited coaches.
Learn S&C exercises to integrate into your training program and explore the recovery space.
