About this Event
Join us on Sunday, October 9th, for a yarn tasting featuring Kelbourne Woolens. A yarn tasting is a unique opportunity to experience the yarn on your needles and in your hands before buying. Tastings are an excellent opportunity to make new friends and get inspiration.
This event features the following Kelbourne Woolens lines - Andorra, Germantown, Mojave, Perennial, and Scout yarns. Single skeins and kits are available to purchase, and cashless payments are accepted. A variety of needles and hooks will be available for tasting. Feel free to bring your own.
The holidays are just around the corner, and there is still time to knit or crochet your loved ones or yourself a gift.
Everyone is welcome. Admission is by donation.
While you are in Hyde Park, take a stroll through the neighborhood.
Culturally diverse Hyde Park is home to the picturesque University of Chicago campus and the Frederick C. Robie House, a Frank Lloyd Wright work. Summer crowds head to 57th Street Beach, while the former Palace of the Fine Arts, built for the World’s Columbian Exposition of 1893, is now home to the Museum of Science and Industry. Founded in 1939, the Hyde Park Art Center exhibits contemporary works. ― Google
