About this Event
Do you ever feel like you want to get better at your Farsi speaking skills but you feel judged or intimated? Are you an intermediate speaker but want to get better so you could have a full conversation with your grandma? Are you an advanced Farsi speaker and want to make sure you keep it up? Do you want to meet really cool people in the diaspora who are interested in learning more about themselves through Farsi?
If any of the following resonated with you, then this Farsi language meetup is for you. We will have chai and shirini and there will be different breakout groups based on your level. Each group will have a fluent Farsi speaker to guide you or answer any questions. Then after we are warmed up and practiced, we will all mingle!
Come as you are. No judgement, no homework. And we hope you leave feeling empowered and more comfortable speaking Farsi! We hope to have a language meet up every two months if there is interest. Spread the word! The event is free, but a donation would be appreciated. We will start right at 7pm so please ensure you get there on time.
