Start your 4th of July Celebrations early and join Just TRI for the second annual Yankee Doodle 5K and Kids Fun Run.
- Run walk race – bring your pet along or push a stroller – and earn that medal!
- This course will be about as flat and fast as possible inside Fort Steilacoom Park while taking advantage of the newly paved trails and beautiful scenery. This route includes the new pathway near the dog park and Angle Lane...and of course the Waughop Lake loop. 99% of the route is on the great new pavement! It's flat it's fast it's fresh…and it is the Year of the Dragon!
- Everyone that participates in the 5K will get a t-shirt and medal. 5K athletes will finish through the big Just TRI Finish arch and receive a Just TRI Finisher Medal. Our little athletes will receive a medal after completion of the Kids Fun Run/Walk as they pass under the arch.
- 5K starts at 8am on Sunday June 30th. The Kids Fun Run will start at approximately 8:45am right after the 5K awards ceremony.
