Our crew of seven musicians use no artificial ingredients, just good clean ocean air. So, if you’re feeling a little adrift and want to escape the mainland, join us for an evening of smooth melodies, friendly waves, and good times that will make you sway and smile.
The New Normal Band plays and eclectic mix of pop, rock, and R&B tunes from the 70s to today. The "normal" 5-piece lineup includes two lead vocalists, acoustic and electric guitarists, bass, and drums. The band members have played together for years in multiple professional bands and projects throughout Northern VA and the DC area. Our quality musicianship, expansive song list, and ability to bring in additional talented players allows us to tailor our shows to a specific audience or theme. We often add sax or keys to the lineup and our vocalists and guitarists also perform as an acoustic trio. There’s nothing normal about this band - the musicianship, quality, flexibility, and the variety of songs are unique, providing something for everyone.
