About Melissa:

I’ve been in the fitness world for a long time—my journey started back in 1997 when I became a personal trainer. A few years later, in 2000, I added Pilates to my toolkit and fell in love with how it complemented everything I was already doing. Throughout all those years, yoga was my constant hobby and grounding practice.

In 2019, I decided to take things deeper and earned my 200-hour RYT, training at various studios throughout Loudoun County. Soon after, in 2020, I began teaching at YogaSix, where I get to blend decades of movement experience with my love of mindful, functional practice. My approach is all about helping people feel stronger, more balanced, and more at home in their bodies—on and off the mat.
