Good news everyone! We've taught the toaster to love... oh yes, and we're doing an Xmas celebration.. in, er, um JULY! Yes that's it, July!Gone are the ancient pronunciations of "Christmas" and "ask", your primitive notions of modesty, and "pine trees".
For those that may have missed the reference, we've theming this off of Christmas episodes of Futurama in order to give it a really fun spin.
Since the food banks are really hurting for food this time of year, we'll be doing a canned food and bottled water drive the entire day to help them get stocked back up.
Also throughout the entire day we'll have a keg of Regular and Barrel Aged Mayan Chocolossus on tap.
Think you've been good this year? The Friendly Robot Companies Robot Santa begs to differ, he's convinced everyone has been very naughty (except for Zoidberg, he's getting another pogo stick this Xmas). We recommend being in the brewery by 5pm before Robot Santa is out unless you've purchased a Surface-to-Santa Missile launcher.
Starting at 5pm we'll have some additional special tappings, including a cellared keg of Witcher Warmer and a keg of Slurm!
At 6pm we'll be doing a giant white elephant gift exchange for anyone that brings a gift in and participates!
1. Please bring a gift that's worth a minimum of $15. There's no maximum so if you want to push hard to win one of the best gift prizes go wild! Just keep in mind you could wind up with a $15 gift!
2. Since we're viewed as a bar by the state, please no outside alcohol of any type, no real weapons (we'll protect you from Robot Santa Claus... maybe.), No drugs or related paraphernalia (even the legal ones, we're still federally regulated), and no adult/pornographic materials. Following all that will keep us nice and legal!
Be sure to write your loyalty number on your gift as we're going to give out a few prizes for the best gift in the following categories :
-Best Futurama themed gift, please no live hypno-toads or brain slugs.
-Best worst gift, we don't know, maybe a bag of 500 stink lizards?
- Best / Coolest gift, a gift that someone would really want/is useful, a parrot perhaps?
