XANDER NAYLOR GROUP

Xander Naylor is an American guitarist and composer who has become known for a style unparalleled in his generation. Naylor’s music honors the generations before him, blending elements of jazz, rock, and Indian classical music, into what Rolling Stone describes as “that signature Naylor sound.”

Born of his own spiritual journey and deep study of multiple Eastern and Western traditions, music has brought him to perform in concerts and festivals all over the world, including Montreal International Jazz Festival, Umbria Jazz Festival, Central Park Summerstage, Lincoln Center, Burlington Discover Jazz Festival, and the Perelman Performing Arts Center (opening night). He currently tours with his own bands the Xander Naylor Trio and Breathwork, as well as with NYC-based acts Mwenso and the Shakes and The Sound of (Black) Music.

Naylor’s most recent composition work was the original score for the motion picture Hayseed. The Hayseed soundtrack was released in September 2024 on Burlington's own Music Lab Records.

Narrative roots rock; alt folk with an edge. Hometown friends and songwriter duo, Low Echo leans into themes of maturing, personal journey, and place. Spanning as intimate folk duo to gnarling full rock band, Mike and Brendan are innovating a bottleneck slide, agile fingerstyle, harmony-heavy sound that dares to bend genres while drawing listeners in close.

SAMANTHA MAE

Samantha Mae is a Vermont singer songwriter who is in the process of releasing her debut album, Reverie. She recorded her music at The VT Music Lab, with owner and producer Ezra Oklan. While this is Samantha's first time releasing her music publicly she has written, sang and performed from a young age. Samantha's love of songwriting developed as a way of analyzing her experiences and the world around her. Tonight, her melodic storytelling will be accompanied by Xander Naylor on guitar.
