Come and play tabletop games and practice your te reo Māori at the Newlands Community Centre.
All levels have been participating - beginners and fluent speakers. So please feel comfortable to come along.
There are games suited to all levels, and info sheets to help beginners. Playing games is a fantastic way to pick up new kupu and phrases and use what you have already learned.
Kēmu include: Kaupapa, Tākaro!, Kāri Māori, Wero, Whare Whare, Kupu Rorirori, Ko Wai Koe? and any others you bring along.
A free activity with supper provided. Parking available right outside.
