About the CarnivalThere is no admission charge to the Lions Club Charity Carnival. It is located at the ball fields at Wytheville Community College at 1000E Main St. Gates open at 6:00PM, rides start nightly at 6:30 PM July 8 to 12, 2025. The Carnival is open until 10:00PM each night.
Individual tickets for rides are expected to be $1.25 each, 24 for $25, 72 for $60. Rides require 3 or more tickets each. Ride all night wrist bands are $25. Ride all day wrist bands will also available online. $25 VALUE--SAVE UP TO $5 WHEN YOU PURCHASE ONLINE!! More info on this as the dates approach.
Ride height and other restrictions are clearly posted at each ride for your safety. If you’re bringing little ones, scope out their ride prospects before you make your ticket purchases for your best enjoyment. There are NO REFUNDS on ride bands/tickets.
All of the rides are operated by Cole Rides of Covington, VA www.colerides.com. You can see all of these and more at the New River Valley Fair in a few weeks. A portion of the ride ticket sales goes to the Wytheville Lions Club.
Several of the midway games and the food tent are operated by the Wytheville Lions Club, www.wythevillelionsclub.com. The Carnival is the major fund raiser of the year. These funds are used to support various local projects of the Club throughout the year including eye exams, prescription eyeglasses, and sight and hearing screening for students in Wythe and Bland counties, to name a few. We don’t do this just to have fun (although it is a nice side effect!!!). We do this to serve our community.
While you enjoy the Carnival, you support local projects that benefit you, your friends, and your neighbors.
