The Wiregrass Youth Symphony Orchestra is comprised of three groups:Beginner Strings, which meets 9:00-10:00
Youth Symphony, which meets 10:15-11:45
Chamber Ensembles, which meet 11:45-12:30
Registration and instrument fittings for Beginners begins at 9:00. The WYSO offers rentals for string instruments and welcomes students ages 8+.
Auditions for Symphony begin at 10:00. Please be prepared with two scales, a short excerpt, and to sight-read.
Chamber Ensembles are open to ALL musicians, and groupings are based upon skill level and instrumentation.
