*Please note that all spaces for the walk to the Beaver enclosure are now full. We are still taking bookings for the talk in the discovery centre. If you would like to be put on the reserve list for the walk please let us know on booking*Want to know more about the family of Beavers we have been lucky enough to home since April 2024?
Forestry England have been working across the country to bring the species back to the nation's forests, and following successful reintroductions in the Forest of Dean and Yorkshire, we teamed up with Natural England and experts at the Beaver Trust to bring beavers to Wyre Forest National Nature Reserve.
This talk will be hosted by our Community Ranger who is part of the team tasked with overseeing this project and will be followed by an optional walk from the Discovery Centre to the Beaver Enclosure (please note approx. 3.5km each way to enclosure).
The team will love to chat and answer any questions you may have on this walk. Although we will not be entering the enclosure, you will still see dams and the effects that beavers have on their surrounding environment! 🦫
This is a free to attend event but please pre-register your attendance at [email protected] or by calling the team on 0300 0674935.
All welcome!
