Join us May 1-3rd, 2025, at the Wyoming Outdoor Recreation Summit (WORS), co-convened by the Wyoming Office of Outdoor Recreation and the Jay Kemmerer WORTH Institute. The Summit will be held at the Marion H. Rochelle Gateway Center in Laramie, Wyoming.The Wyoming Outdoor Recreation Summit focuses on supporting Wyoming's outdoor recreation community by providing relevant, engaging programming that resonates with attendees and fosters collaboration in the sector. This event aims to gather outdoor recreation industry professionals from state and federal agencies, organizations, businesses, and more.
The theme for the 2025 WORS is "Outdoor Recreation in Wyoming Communities: Building Partnerships, Developing Workforce, and Accessing Resources." This theme addresses and explores these three aspects of outdoor recreation through presentations, panels, discussions, and breakout sessions.
Registration is open and costs $100 per attendee for the two-day WORS and $50 for the one-day Search and Rescue Conference (SARCON). The two-day WORS registration fee includes breakfast and lunch on May 1st and May 2nd, access to all sessions, and a chance to win a raffle prize on May 2nd (attendees must be present to win). The one-day SARCON registration fee includes breakfast and lunch on May 3rd and access to all sessions and demonstrations during the day.
