About this Event
Join us the second Saturday of every month in 2025 for FREE activities with artists from the Center for Arts-Inspired Learning. Separate sessions for children in grades K-2 and 3-5. Each class will be from 12:30 – 1:30 pm. Join us every month or pick and choose the topics of interest for your child. Class sizes are limited and registration is required for each session.
March's classes will feature mixed media creations:
March 8 - 12:30 - 1:30pm
Grades K-2 - Mixed Media Origami Project with James Peake
James Peake is a paper folding expert. He will help the children fold a simple model, glue it to some cardstock, then create a scene around the origami model using markers with fun accessories to turn their creations into animal faces.
Grades 3-5 - Mixed Media Project with Trina Parrish
Trina is an Interdisciplinary Visual Art Educator. She enjoys working with artists of all ages and skill levels. She enjoys working with a large variety of materials in both traditional and atypical art spaces saying it is truly rare that any of her work is made from one single medium. Participants in this workshop will get to experience creating their own masterpiece using different materials and techniques.
Lunch will be provided from 12:00 - 12:30 pm
