Wymer Arts Series at UH Rainbow Ahuja Center for Women & Children

Join us the second Saturday of every month in 2025 for FREE activities with artists from the Center for Arts-Inspired Learning. Separate sessions for children in grades K-2 and 3-5. Each class will be from 12:30 – 1:30 pm. Join us every month or pick and choose the topics of interest for your child. Class sizes are limited and registration is required for each session.

February's classes focus on dance:

February 8 - 12:30 - 1:30pm Grades K-5 - Hip-Hop Dance with Blakk Jakk Dance Collective

Blakk Jakk Dance Collective, Founded by RonDale Simpson, was formed in the summer of 2020 as a community project-based dance company. The styles include Hip-Hop fusion, Modern, Afro Beats, HBCU dance style, and stepping. BJDC was created to allow dancers of color opportunities to improve their skills, perform and build a network of emerging and professional dancers.

Lunch will be provided from 12:00 - 12:30 pm
