Here's a great idea for something very special to do next weekend. Drive up to Reading, PA (6 hrs) and attend this incredible WWII experience that includes a full Air Show that features hundreds of WWII era aircraft, over 1K Reenactors, a Store Front from the WWII Era that features a gas station, a country store, a Theater and a Radio Broadcast station with daily shows. Entertainment from 40's jazz singer Theresa Eaman, America's Sweethearts from NYC (an Andrew's Sisters Tribute Act), a WWII era barber shop quartet and yours truly, Frank Sings Frank (singing only Sinatra songs from 1945 and back...so no NY, NY and My Way, authentic period music throughout the entire event. Lots of food trucks and a vintage flee market. On Friday and Saturday evening dress up in your favorite vintage WWII outfit and hit the hanger deck for live Big Band music and swing, jitter bug and lindy hop dancing. Plenty to see at the Mid Atlantic Air Museum on the grounds of the Reading Regional Airport who has been hosting this amazing event for the past 31 yeas!
