12 noon Battle Reenactment on Saturday
Living History Display portraying the final year of the war in Europe and the troops' return home.
12:30 pm 1940s Radio Show Vignettes
Swing Dance Music 1 - 4 pm with the Roger Harris Jazz Ensemble
Great food, all museum buildings open

Friday, Apr 22, 2022 School Field Trip Day Living History WWII (9 am - 1 pm)
$5 per person students and chaperons, cash at the gate.

This day will consist of self-guided tours for public, private, and home school students. Students pass through a series of living history stations that reveal different aspects of World War II and life during the time period.
Food items, drinks and snacks will be available for purchase at the museum concession stand, cash only, no credit cards. You may also bring your lunch and picnic on the grounds.
No smoking, no pets.

• Living history stations throughout the grounds, including the Lockey Tool Room in the Main Building

• Programming begins with 1940s Radio Show-styled entertainment, (all programming at the Gazebo)

• Presentation by Art Durshimer on the US Army’s 30th Infantry Division, the “Old Hickory Division” and
their service record in Europe during 1944 and 1945
11:45am
• Solo 1940s singing by Hannah Howell
12:00pm
• World War II Battle Reenactment (in the field)
12:45pm
• More Radio skits, sketches and comedy, along with “news from the front” updates and 1940s radio commercials.
1:00pm
• Live 1940s/Swing Music Roger Harrison Jazz Ensemble On set breaks: more songs by Hannah Howell and
1940s Radio Show programming
3:45pm
• Final address, Quilt Raffle Drawing
4:00pm – Event ends
