Growing up in the charismatic church, my personal experience was quite the opposite of that concept, and this show reflects that journey in a humorous yet thoughtful way.The main character, Gary, is a beautifully-hearted boy who simply loves everyone and strives to do his best for those around him. While the story touches on heartfelt and sometimes darker themes, it is ultimately uplifting and filled with hope. He shows love, grace and compassion to those who need it
