About this Event
* PLEASE NOTE: AN EVENTBRITE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED TO ATTEND THIS EVENT **
This will be a short walk in the Liberty Park area. We will meet right where the sand volleyball courts are.
MEETING TIME: 2pm for Hot Bevs; walk will start at 2:15pm
HOW TO FIND US: Look for an older black Honda CRV with the blue Women Who Explore Flag covering the trunk door. EXACT MEET UP LOCATION WILL BE SHARED 48 HRS BEFORE THE EVENT.
HOT BEVS PROVIDED: We will have hot water + hot cocoa mix + coffee + tea bags +sweetner and sugar packets + agave + honey + powder creamers + hot beverage cups and lids.
WALK INFO: We will walk 1 mile and then turn around and come back to the meeting spot. This will be an easy walk for all levels, the intent is to mingle and make new friends while sipping our yummy hot drinks.
PARKING: Parking is free and carpooling is always encouraged.
WHAT TO BRING: Water, sunscreen, sunglasses. Dress warmly and make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes.
LIABILITY WAIVER: Friendly reminder that Women Who Explore events are 18+ and it is required to sign the e-waiver before attending your first event. Please sign on an annual basis. Link HERE! Waivers are good for 1 year.
** PLEASE NOTE: Even though some ambassadors are wilderness first aid certified, this is a casual get together for shared outdoor enthusiasts. Safety is a top priority; please plan accordingly.**
CANCELLATION POLICY: If you are registering for one of our group events, we ask that you are 100% committed to attending when you register. If you reserve a spot and are unable to attend, please cancel as soon as possible on Eventbrite. We ask that you try to cancel a minimum of 2 days prior to the day of the event as this allows other women who would like to attend the ability to plan to join us.
