About this Event

TIME and LOCATION: Meet at 1:15 pm (see parking location below). We will begin hiking promptly at 1:25 pm. Estimated time to finish the hike is roughly 5:30 pm, but distance achieved and speed/pace will ultimately depend upon the groups pace as this is a leave no one behind hike and we move as a group.

DESCRIPTION OF HIKE:

The hike enters the Goldfield Mountains thru a corridor known as the Golden Hillside. It is a lasso or lollipop trail and we eventually reach Willow Springs Basin before looping back. Lots of scenery and rock formations to explore. As we hike back out we will have a beautiful view of Superstitions at sunset. 6.2 miles and 830 foot elevation gain. It may be closer to 7 miles as we explore some side views. All Trails description: https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/arizona/javalina-mine-trail-golden-nugget-and-quartz-arroyo-trail
