WVIFF welcomes Clara Lehmann & Jonathan Lacocque (founders of Coat of Arms) to host this informative session and workshop during the 2025 WV International Film Festival in Charleston, WV.Title: Storytelling Ethics in the Age of AI
Synopsis: In a time when every image can be generated and every story can be manipulated, the line between truth and fiction grows increasingly blurred. This talk explores what it means to tell stories ethically in a world shaped by algorithms, attention economies, and artificial intelligence. Through reflection, film examples, and audience conversation, Clara and Jonathan invite participants to consider how ethical storytelling becomes an act of resistance, and how artists can protect authenticity, empathy, and human truth in their creative work.
