About this Event
Join Us for WVHEA Homeschool Day Capitol Tour
Hey homeschoolers! Don’t miss out on this in-person event where you can explore the beautiful Capitol up close. It’s a perfect chance for students and families to learn about history and government in a fun, interactive setting. Come tour the halls, ask questions, and make some great memories with fellow homeschoolers. Don't forget to attend the Homeschool Rally in the lower rotunda at noon or sit in the gallery for the Legislature session. Whether it’s your first visit or a yearly tradition, WVHEA Homeschool Day Capitol Tours is where the action’s at. See you there!
Homeschool Day at the Capitol runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tours of the Capitol run every half hour for most of the day. The Legislature will be in session at 11 a.m., and we encourage all homeschoolers to sit in the gallery. This is a fantastic opportunity for your family to see how the state government works. There will be a rally in the rotunda at noon. If you have any questions or would like to know how your family can be more involved, please email Amy at [email protected] or text 850-815-9696.
