Our trek through the Tinsel Trail will be a bit different this year. We're moving it to Saturday night, December 13th, at 6 PM. However, that date and time may change, so check back here as we get closer to December. In particular, it might be moved to Saturday, December 6th or 27th.https://www.tinseltrail.org/
Everyone is welcome to joins us for the annual Tinsel Trail Trek. You don't have to be a WvB or STARFLEET member to attend, so feel free to bring your family and friends. Temperatures can be quite cold, so dress appropriately. Uniforms are not required, but they would be a great way to stay warm and publicize the chapter.
The Tinsel Trail is located in Big Spring Park in downtown Huntsville. We'll start our trek at 6 PM at the benches near the crosswalk next to the Cozy Cow Cafe (295 Church St SW). We'll wander through the Christmas trees in the main part of Big Spring Park, then cross the street to see the trees in park annex (east side). While walking through the Tinsel Trail is free, parking in the nearby garages will probably cost $5 or more.
We'll probably have dinner somewhere before hand, but nothing has been decided this far in advance. If you have suggestions or requests, please let us know or post in the event's discussion area.
