Join us as we work together to create a trauma-conscience response to human trafficking in West Virginia. Help us to identify practical goals and objectives that will provide vital tools and resources and develop victim-centered practices in services delivery. Help us as we build partnerships to better identify, support and empower victims of trafficking in communities across our state.

A block of rooms is available at the Springhill Suites by Marriott, Wheeling, Tridelphia Area (908 National Rd, Wheeling, WV 26003). Each attendee is responsible for making their own reservation as well as payment. The lodging reservation deadline for this rate is August 15, 2024.

This training will provide strategies and best practices to providing a trauma-conscience response to human trafficking in West Virginia.
Attendees will:
- Build partnerships to better identify, support and empower victims of trafficking in communities across West Virginia;
- Understand the history of anti-trafficking work in West Virginia;
- Describe current human trafficking trends in the state;
- Outline the Services Model for providing advocacy and support to trafficking victims; and
- identify practical goals, objectives and strategies that will provide vital tools and resources to foster victim-centered practices in services delivery.
This program is being presented with financial assistance as a grant from the West Virginia State.
