About this Event
Our club is proud to play on Wurundjeri Country. Youlden Parkville Cricket Club (in some form) has played in and around Royal Park since 1875. The grounds on which we now play have been and continue to be an important place for first nations people.
The welcome to country and smoking ceremony is led by a Wurundjeri elder. We learn about first nations peoples connections to Melbourne, have a great dinner and then lots of good times and chit chat!
All are welcome. If you're new to YPCC we'd love you to come, and if you're returning for another season its a great way to catch up and get to know other folks from our senior women, mens and junior programs.
