Join WTMD at Canton Waterfront Park on July 11th for our next First Thursday Festival—the region’s largest FREE music and arts festival! Presented by CFG Bank and the Maryland Energy Administration.Enjoy a stellar lineup of local and national WTMD favorites:
Phosphorescent is the brainchild of alt-country rock singer/songwriter Mathew Houck. Recorded over six months in his Nashville home studio, his latest album Revelator paints a picture of his experience as a man at home with a young family, pondering nature and the passage of time. Houck’s family appears on the album in multiple ways: His daughters inspired lyrics and his partner, Jo Schornikow, co-wrote “The World Is Ending.” The album also features guest spots from Jack Lawrence of the Raconteurs and Jim White of Dirty Three.
Fantastic Cat hails from NYC. Rolling Stone described their 2022 debut album The Very Best of Fantastic Cat a “wildly satisfying collection of folk-rock, country, Americana, and good old rock & roll” with “equal doses of Dylan and Springsteen.” This past June, the band made their second national television appearance by returning to the CBS Saturday Morning stage.
Baltimore’s Enslow—a local staple and artist frequently spun on the WTMD airwaves. Enslow and her band bring their own unique brand of indie dream pop. Fun fact: If you’ve attended our Saturday Morning Tunes’ Taylor Swift for Kids shows, you’ve already seen what a great performer they are!
Dance the night away and admire the sunset along Baltimore’s scenic waterfront.
