Join us for the opening exhibition of CONFAB 2025 in our gallery during First Friday Artwalk on October 3rd from 6–8 pm!
Washington Studio School is proud to present CONFAB 2025, featuring the work of 30+ artists from WSS and the greater DMV area, each contributing to a dynamic dialogue that connects the School with its community. CONFAB 2025 explores personal and thought-provoking interpretations of contemporary issues, offering fresh insights into today’s cultural and social conversations. The exhibition is juried by Ashleigh D. Coren, an educator at The George Washington University, as well as a Washington, D.C.–based curator and content strategist. She has held roles at the National Portrait Gallery, the Smithsonian American Women’s History Museum, and the Smithsonian Office of Digital Transformation, and currently serves on the board of the Museum Education Roundtable.
